Salem Community Center Party Packages
Single Activity Party Package - 90 minutes of one activity (pool or gym court) and 60 minutes of private party room usage. Food and add-ons available. Please see brochure.
Spin Sprint Splash - Youth Indoor Mini Triathlon Party Package - "Triple Challenge" your friends to celebrate with you on your special day with an invitation to participate in the SCC Youth Indoor Mini Triathlon! Participants will ride the stationary bikes for 10 minutes, run 10 minutes on the indoor track (or treadmills), and swim for 10 minutes in the indoor pool. Final distances travelled in the time allowed will be totaled to determine the winner.
Fieldhouse Party Package - 60 minutes of exclusive activity time (flag football or soccer), 60 minutes of private party room use (accommodates 35 guests), and food package upgrade.
Discover Scuba Splash - Under the direction of North Coast Divers, Inc. Instructor Bill Anderson, 10 guests (ages 8 and up) will enjoy 15 minutes of classroom instruction, 45 minutes of introductory scuba instruction and 1 hour of private party room usage.

Party Packages are 2 to 3 hour special events at the Salem Community Center.
What's Included: Most packages include use of a party room and the pool and/or a gym court or the field house for up to 35 guests. Weekday parties are available during the summer and during school breaks or holidays.
Birthday Parties: Requests for Birthday Parties must be made either in person by contacting Mindy Sneltzer at the Salem Community Center, via email This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it., or phone (330) 332-6297. It is recommended that requests be made no later than two weeks prior to the event.
Party Packages and Policies:
Most party packages include the use of the party room for 60 minutes and pool and/or a gym court for 1.5 hours for up to 35 participating guests. Access to the room is allowed 30 minutes prior to and after the scheduled party time. In consideration of the next party, we ask that all belongings be removed from the room at the scheduled end time. This includes all gifts, food, decorations and any additional party items. Maximum amount of people in the party room is 35.
All wet persons need to stay in the pool area or locker rooms. Please advise your party guests to wear appropriate attire for the pool/gym activity and a towel for showering or pool activity.
Participants of the Party Packages may not use other areas of the facility unless a member of the Salem Community Center.
SCC staff suggests that you have the pool or gym activity prior to using the party room.
Children ages 14 and under are to be supervised at all times. Children ages 5 and under are to be closely supervised with at
least one adult in the water.
The party room is not secured during parties and special events. The Salem Community Center is not responsible for stolen or lost items during a party.
Parents are permitted to bring food, cake, ice cream, etc. A refrigerator/freezer is available to store ice cream and other perishables. All food must remain in the party room only. The Salem Community Center will provide tables and chairs. We will not provide decorations, cake or ice cream. Paper products are only provided with a Pizza Package upgrade.
Alcohol and tobacco products are absolutely prohibited

What a great time! We will be back.
The only real downside is that the free time in the gym needed to be
more structured for 11, 9-year old boys. I ended up running some relay races and stuff, but I would have loved some set activities to try. Otherwise I couldn't have asked for a better day. The boys had a great time.

The first communion party was great! Everyone loved the food, there was more than enough even for thirds. The best part was being able to walk in with everything set up, visit with our guests, enjoy the occasion and savor the moment, then leave with family and know the cleanup was being taken care of. Thanks so much! We had a blast, it was great. Winter was amazing in assisting us when we needed something. The only thing I can think of was the pool toys; I had to ask the life guards if there
were any pool toys about 30 minutes into the swim the 5 year olds
got sleepy! So they pointed to a bag of stuff and once I opened it up they came alive again! The boats were a huge hit.
It was the perfect amount of swim time. I was worried that we would be rushed during pizza and cake, but it was perfect as well.

I just want to say that I was so very pleased with the way everything was handled. The place was beautiful, Lisa was very nice, the Fifth Season did a wonderful job, the food was excellent......I had many good comments on the food. And to think I worried about running out. We had so much left over it was ridiculous. I'm not sure how we had so much left over because we had maybe 5 no shows. Last but not least, you were great to work with.
